Rick Muenz – Calgary Criminal Defence Lawyer

With over 30 years of exclusive criminal law experience, Rick Muenz has successfully defended clients across Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and the Yukon. He has handled every type of criminal charge — from serious violent offences to regulatory and summary matters — and is widely recognized for his expertise in defending sexual assault allegations.
Rick is a guest lecturer at the University of Calgary Faculty of Law, where he teaches in the Advanced Criminal Law Course. He has also instructed at the Alberta Law Society Bar Admission Course and presented to the Canadian Bar Association Criminal Law Subsection, as well as at the Alberta Court of King’s Bench and Provincial Court Judges’ Conferences. Cameron is a Saskatchewan native who has been in private practice in Calgary since convocating from the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon.
First articled to a large Calgary law firm, Cameron has maintained an independent private legal practice in Calgary since.
Cameron has decades of experience in an exclusively litigation practice, with a particular emphasis on criminal defence, injury, matrimonial, and employment litigation. Cameron has appeared before all levels of Court in Alberta.
